Nan Marsh Singles Update

Following on from the last date change to November 10th – it transpires that this date conflicts with a Mid Canterbury Representative fixture and therefore cannot be used for a Sub Centre fixture.

After consultation with Women’s sections of clubs, and with those currently entered in the tournament, a new date has been fixed for the event.

Saturday 7th December 

Venue: Rakaia Bowling Club

This is the final change, there will be no further alterations to this event for the current season.

Conditions of Play: Women’s singles competition
• Open to all full members of any Club affiliated to the Bowls Mid Canterbury Sub Centre
• 1 ¼ hour time limit for all games.
• Qualifying rounds: 4 bowls, 3 games, games of 15 shots up.
• First three rounds must be played.
• Those winning 2 or more games qualify for post section play, which will follow qualifying rounds on the same day.
• Post section play: 15 shots, one life, byes disposed of on the first round.
• In post section play, losers in each round shall be required to mark games in the following round. Clubs will be nominated by the Match Committee to provide markers for qualifying round games.
